GROUP TASTER
SESSIONS

GROUP AND PRIVATE SESSIONS

Book a group or private session for you and your friends or team away day for up to 10 people. These sessions will be a fun day to learn both hand building and/or throwing on a potter’s wheel. Everyone will have their own wheel and be taught by one of our experienced teachers. We can also host family sessions for children and adults to throw on the wheel, hand build or both.

You will be shown various techniques of working with clay, making pinch pots, slab construction, coiling, using drape moulds and throwing on a wheel. You will have 2-3 finished and glazed pieces ready to collect 3-4 weeks after your session (retained for 3 months).

A choice of glazes, that you will choose from will be applied after the work is fully dried and fired. The cost includes all materials and equipment and firing costs.

PRICES PER PERSON OR GROUP:

8-10 people, £85.00 per person

6-8 people £640 for 4 hours of wheel throwing and hand building or £520 for 3 hours of wheel throwing only or hand building only

4-5 people, £450 for 4 hours of wheel throwing and hand building or £375 for 3 hours of wheel throwing only or hand building only

2-3 people, £100 per person for 3 hours of wheel throwing only or hand building only

Private 1 to 1, £125 either wheel or hand building 2.5 hours

Family sessions for adults and children- please enquire so we can tailor make your day according to the ages

Important information

WHAT TO WEAR / BRING WITH YOU:

Wear old clothing and closed toe shoes, shirts which you can roll up your sleeves- you will get dirty. We recommend to bring a full-length apron which you can wash at home. You may also want to bring a small hand towel.

CORONAVIRUS SAFETY MEASURES:

Students and teachers are no longer required to wear a face covering but we will support everyone who wishes to wear masks. Teachers are testing regularly for prevention of transmission.

PAYMENT / IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The session fees include all materials and firing costs of the clay.

We will not offer refunds unless cancelled 14 days prior to the date of the session. If you need to cancel a session, please get in touch and will offer a voucher for another session or a refund if we can fill your space with another group.
